Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model reproduces the Grumman F8F Bearcat flown by the Blue Angels in 1946. It is built for adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who value accurate miniature aircraft. The officially licensed replica arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Decisive specification

The model features an opening canopy that reveals interior cockpit detail, a feature not present on every diecast release. This movable part lets the owner choose between a sealed profile and a displayed cabin without altering the exterior lines.

Materials and handling

Diecast metal combined with plastic gives the piece a substantial, realistic feel while keeping the structure durable. The finished model measures approximately 4.75 inches in length with a 6-inch wingspan, so it sits securely on the included display stand without demanding a large footprint.
