Scale and subject

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the Northrop F-5N Tiger II flown by the VFC-111 Sundowners adversary squadron. It is aimed at adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who want an accurate display piece. The officially licensed replica arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Diecast construction limits

The airframe combines diecast metal and plastic to deliver a heavy, realistic feel while keeping fine details intact. Panel lines, antennas and access panels are moulded to scale, but the small 1/72 size means the tiniest features cannot be rendered individually. Moving parts are restricted to the opening canopy.

Display footprint and detail

Length measures 7.75 inches and wingspan 4.5 inches, so the model fits on a modest shelf or desk with the included stand. The pilot figure adds cockpit context, yet the fixed landing gear and sealed weapons bays limit configuration changes. Buyers who want larger scales or fully articulated ordnance should look elsewhere.
