Scale Model for Collectors

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the Northrop T-38A Talon operated by the US Naval Test Pilot School and NASA. It is manufactured by Hobby Master as part of the Air Power Series. The item arrives brand new in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging. It suits adult collectors and military aviation enthusiasts seeking a detailed replica.

Diecast Construction with Display Features

The model uses diecast metal and plastic construction for durability and a heavy, realistic feel. A detailed exterior presents realistic panel lines, antennas, access panels and surface details. The canopy opens to reveal the included pilot figure. A display stand is supplied for shelf or desktop presentation.

Fixed Scale Limits Display Options

The 1/72 scale fixes the model at approximately 7.75 inches in length and 4.25 inches in wingspan. This size suits standard display cabinets but may be too large for dense dioramas or small shelves. The pre-applied markings represent the specific 61-0856 airframe from 2005, so buyers needing different unit markings or a larger scale cannot modify this item.
