1/72 Scale Sea Harrier FA.2 Model

This 1/72 scale diecast model replicates the British Aerospace Sea Harrier FA.2 with Sea Eagle missiles, marked as ZH796 from the 2018 Royal Navy Air Power Series. It features diecast metal and plastic construction with realistic panel lines, antennas, and surface details for an authentic representation. The model includes a pilot figure, opening canopy, and detachable ordnance loads. It arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Adult Collectors Seeking Display Accuracy

The model suits adult collectors and military-history enthusiasts who want a highly detailed, officially licensed replica for shelf display. The opening canopy and pilot figure add presentation options, while the display stand supports in-flight positioning. Buyers who need a toy for active play or a larger scale for finer cockpit instrumentation should look elsewhere.

Opening Canopy and Detachable Ordnance

The opening canopy reveals the included pilot figure, allowing a choice between sealed or crewed display. Detachable Sea Eagle missiles let the owner configure the aircraft for different mission profiles or a clean-wing look. The bundled display stand provides stable mounting without requiring a separate purchase.

Questions about this item

What display space do I need for the 7.75-inch length and 4.25-inch wingspan?

Allow at least 8 inches of shelf length and 5 inches of width so the 1/72 scale model with its stand fits without overhang.

Will the detachable Sea Eagle missiles stay secure if I handle the model often?

The ordnance loads are designed to be removable for display flexibility; they fit snugly but can come loose with frequent handling.

How can I confirm the canopy opens and the pilot figure is present after unboxing?

Gently lift the canopy hinge — it should swing open smoothly — and check the cockpit for the seated pilot figure included with ZH796.
