Ryzen 7 5700X desktop

This Hoengager gaming desktop pairs an eight-core Ryzen 7 5700X processor running at 3.4 GHz with a GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB graphics card. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 3200 memory and a combined two terabytes of solid-state storage handle modern titles and multitasking. A 240 mm liquid cooler, ARGB fans with software control and Windows 11 complete the package.

Upgrade from older AM4 or entry-level builds

The system replaces ageing quad-core AM4 rigs or first-generation Ryzen boxes that struggle at 1440p. Moving to eight Zen 3 cores and an RTX 5060 GPU is worth it when current hardware cannot sustain high frame rates in current titles or when DDR4 capacity limits background tasks. The 650 watt supply supports this configuration without extra cables.

Check case clearance and memory slots before

Verify that the chassis fits a 240 mm radiator and that the motherboard layout leaves room for the graphics card length. Both DDR4 slots are populated with 16 GB modules so future memory expansion requires module replacement. Front-panel I/O offers one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port plus audio jacks; ensure these meet peripheral needs.

Questions about this item

What motherboard socket and cooler clearance does the Ryzen 7 5700X and 240 mm liquid cooler require?

The Ryzen 7 5700X uses the AM4 socket. The 240 mm liquid cooler needs a case that can mount a 240 mm radiator and has enough clearance for the pump block above the CPU.

How do I install Windows 11 on the 1 TB M.2 plus 1 TB SATA SSD configuration, and which step is often missed?

Boot the pre-installed Windows 11, then initialise the second 1 TB SATA SSD in Disk Management so it receives a drive letter and becomes usable storage.

When will the DDR4 3200 memory or the 650 W power supply need replacement?

The 32 GB DDR4 3200 kit is soldered into the two filled slots, so upgrading means replacing both modules. The 650 W PSU should be swapped if the system becomes unstable under load after several years.
