Purpose and fit

The Hoffman AL36A latch kit is a stainless steel accessory designed for single-door Type 12 enclosures, excluding Concept and Proline models. It replaces the handle and latching rod assembly to maintain the enclosure’s rated protection.

When to upgrade

Install this kit when the original latching hardware is damaged, corroded or no longer seals the door to the NEMA 12 standard. The jump is worth it if the enclosure must stay compliant in dusty or wet environments and the existing mechanism cannot be repaired.
