This Hoffman CWHNL handle replaces the standard slotted insert on all Concept wall-mount enclosures. It is designed for electricians and panel builders who need quick, tool-free access to enclosure interiors. The handle installs directly onto the existing cut-out without modifying the cabinet. Buyers who require a keyed or locking mechanism for security compliance should select a different accessory.

Steel Construction with Powder-Coated Finish

The handle body is made from steel and finished with a black powder coating that resists corrosion in indoor industrial environments. Under repeated daily use the coating maintains its appearance and the steel core resists bending or stripping. The package includes a sealing washer and a wave washer to maintain the enclosure’s environmental seal during sustained operation. No load-bearing or torque ratings are published by the manufacturer.

Direct Replacement Installation

Installation consists of removing the factory slotted insert and fitting the handle with the supplied washers; no drilling or wiring is required. The wave washer provides detent tension so the handle stays in position during vibration. The most common issue is misaligning the sealing washer, which can compromise the enclosure’s ingress protection if not seated evenly.
