A sub-band diplexer that combines off-air antenna and satellite signals onto one coaxial line or separates them at the far end, operating from 40 to 2250 MHz with 75 OHM terminators
The Holland Electronics SBD Sub-Band CATV Separator/Joiner is a high performance diplexer designed for professional video distribution. It separates or combines off-air TV antenna and satellite signals onto a single coaxial feed line. Installers use one unit at each end of the cable run to merge and then split the signals. This device supports a single line installation for local HDTV digital channels.
The unit features a blue coloured housing and weighs 0.15. It operates across a 40-2250 MHz range with 75OHM terminators that insert off-air signals into four outputs of Phase III LNBFs. The design minimises off-air analog signal loss during the combining or splitting process. It connects an off-air antenna to a 1820DISH system efficiently.
As a passive diplexer, it draws no power and generates no noise or heat during normal use. The device allows one-way amplifiers to become two-way by separating return signals on head-ends. It provides low loss sub-band signal insertion within the distribution system or at the head-end. This ensures clean signal paths without active thermal management.
