Hollywood Racks LC-B71 Medium saddle bag

This medium-sized bike saddle bag from Hollywood Racks provides one litre of storage across a double-compartment layout. It mounts beneath the seat using a magnetic quick-release buckle for fast attachment and removal. The polyester construction keeps weight low while offering organised space for ride essentials.

Check seat-rail clearance

The bag fixes to the saddle rails via a magnetic buckle, so ensure your rails are standard round or oval profiles with enough unobstructed length for the mount. Verify that rear tyre clearance will not contact the bag when the suspension compresses or the bike is loaded. Confirm the one-litre capacity matches the volume of tools, CO₂ cartridges and personal items you plan to carry.

Replaces strap-on seat packs that fumble

The magnetic release swaps out fiddly Velcro or plastic clips for a single-click action, saving time at cafe stops or roadside repairs. Riders who find traditional straps loosen over rough terrain will appreciate the consistent hold. The jump is worth it if you value speed of access and a tidy, rattle-free mount over maximum volume.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the Hollywood Racks LC-B71 saddle bag and do I need to buy straps separately?

The bag includes the double-compartment polyester shell with interior and exterior pockets plus the integrated magnetic quick-release mount that clips to the saddle rails; no extra straps or hardware are required.

The listing shows Medium size and 1 litre capacity — how do I know if that fits my tools and CO₂ canister?

Medium gives you 1 litre of space split across two compartments; the smaller pocket holds cards, cash or batteries while the larger section fits a mini-tool, tube, CO₂ canister and patch kit.

Will the magnetic buckle stay locked on rough gravel roads or only on smooth tarmac?

The magnetic quick-release is designed to hold securely under normal riding vibration; a firm pull releases it intentionally, so it stays closed over gravel, potholes and hard braking.
