Plug-in pendant with 17-foot cord

This plug-in swag pendant brings adjustable overhead lighting to rooms without hard-wired ceiling boxes. The 17-foot heavy-duty cord includes a grounded three-prong plug and an on/off rocker switch positioned 13 inches from the plug for easy reach. A 5.63-inch mounting rod and all necessary hooks and hardware are supplied for quick installation.

Suits renters and spaces lacking ceiling wiring

Ideal for anyone who needs a movable light source over a table, reading nook or dark corner without calling an electrician. The swag design lets you reposition the fixture by simply re-routing the cord and hooks. Not suited for buyers who require a permanently mounted, hard-wired pendant or who need a fixture rated for damp or outdoor locations.

Diffuser and dual-bulb capacity included

A 15-inch frosted white diffuser sits beneath the two sockets to soften direct glare from the bulbs below. The fixture accepts two standard-base bulbs up to 150 watts each, compatible with incandescent, CFL or LED types; bulbs are not supplied. The textured oatmeal fabric drum shade measures 16 inches top and bottom with an 8-inch slant height.

Questions about this item

What type of bulbs do I need for the two 150-watt maximum sockets?

The pendant takes two standard-base bulbs up to 150 watts each; incandescent, CFL or LED all work.

Will the 17-foot cord reach an outlet if the fixture hangs from a ceiling hook on the opposite wall?

The 17-foot round white cord with grounded plug and rocker switch 13 inches from the plug is designed for long swag runs across the room.

How do I confirm the 15-inch frosted diffuser is seated correctly after assembly?

The diffuser should sit flush inside the 16-inch drum shade with the 5.63-inch mounting rod centred and the on/off switch operating both bulbs smoothly.
