A textured non-slip surface gives secure control over hot pots, pans and trays. Sold as a two-pack in grey.

Waterproof steam-resistant build

The solid silicone exterior blocks liquid absorption and steam penetration unlike fabric mitts. Hands stay dry when handling boiling dishes or working over a grill. Quilted cotton lining adds comfort against high heat. Machine washable care keeps the mitts hygienic after repeated kitchen use.

BPA-free food-safe materials

Certified free of BPA the silicone is non-toxic for family cooking. Flexible construction allows natural hand movement while maintaining grip stability. Heat resistance is rated up to 450°F with manufacturer testing cited at 500°F. Two mitts per pack cover both hands for balanced handling.

Questions about this item

What temperature does the 13.7-inch silicone mitt resist before the cotton liner is exposed to heat?

The silicone exterior is rated to 450 °F and the manufacturer highlights note the product passed heating tests up to 500 °F, so the liner stays protected within that range.

How much forearm coverage does the 13.7-inch length add compared with a standard short mitt?

At 13.7 inches the mitt reaches well past the wrist, shielding fingers, hand and lower forearm from steam and splatter when reaching into an oven or over a grill.

Can I machine-wash the mitts after they get greasy from barbecue sauce?

Yes, the care instructions list them as machine washable; the waterproof silicone shell prevents liquid absorption so grease and sauce rinse out easily.
