13.7-Inch Silicone Oven Mitts
These green oven mitts are made from BPA-free silicone with a quilted cotton lining. They measure 13.7 inches long to cover fingers, hands, and wrists. The pair is machine washable and designed for kitchen tasks such as baking, cooking, and microwave use.
Suited for Home Cooks Avoiding Steam Burns
The waterproof silicone shell blocks steam and liquid absorption, protecting hands during boiling or grill work. Buyers who need forearm coverage beyond the wrist or prefer fabric-only mitts for greater dexterity should consider other styles.
Cotton Liner and Textured Grip
The inner cotton layer adds comfort and insulation against heat up to 450°F and 500°F. The external silicone texture provides a non-slip hold on pots, pans, and hot dishware, reducing the chance of dropping heavy cookware.

Questions about this item
Do the HOMWE HW-OVNMT-2PC-GREEN mitts need any extra liner or pad to reach the 500°F rating?
No, the 13.7-inch mitts have a built-in thick cotton liner and a silicone exterior rated for 500°F, so nothing else is required.
Can I keep using my shorter fabric pot holders together with these 13.7-inch silicone mitts?
Yes, the longer wrist coverage on the 13.7-inch mitts adds protection beyond where fabric holders stop, and the non-slip silicone grip works independently.
How can I confirm the mitts are still protecting at 450°F after several washes?
The silicone shell is machine-washable and waterproof; if the exterior shows no cracks, melting, or delamination after washing, the 450°F heat resistance remains intact.
