Right-hand return for L workstation

The HON 105905RCC is the return section that completes a left-handed L workstation. It attaches to a separately sold main desk and adds a full-height pedestal on the right side. The unit is intended for office environments that need a continuous worksurface with integrated storage.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive laminate assembly the return produces no heat, noise or power draw. The 1.10" thick surface and modesty panel are structural only. Normal use involves placing equipment on top, so any thermal or acoustic profile comes from the devices you install rather than the furniture itself.

Build quality and daily use

Durable laminate resists abrasion and stains while the full-height modesty panel provides privacy. Two drawers in the right-hand pedestal lock with the HON One Key removable core. Cord management grommets route cables through the surface. Because the return is not freestanding it must be bolted to the companion desk during installation.

Questions about this item

How is the right pedestal return attached to the main desk, and what is the common mistake?

The return is not freestanding and must be connected to a 10500 Series main desk using the included hardware; the common mistake is attempting to use it as a standalone unit without ordering the matching desk.

What maintenance will the laminate surface and lock mechanism need over time?

The 1.10" thick laminate resists abrasion and stains, requiring only regular cleaning with a damp cloth; the HON One Key core removable lock may need occasional lubrication or core replacement if keys are lost.

What is the first limitation encountered when loading the two-drawer pedestal during sustained daily use?

The pedestal provides two drawers on the right side for storage, but the unit is not freestanding, so its stability and load capacity depend entirely on being properly secured to the main 48.00" wide desk.
