Modular L-Workstation Return

The HON 10716LCC is a left-hand return unit designed to complete a 10700 Series L-shaped workstation. It provides a 48w by 24d worksurface with a three-quarter height pedestal on the left side. The unit ships separately from the matching desk, so both pieces must be ordered to form the full configuration.

Pedestal Storage and Cable Features

The integrated pedestal contains two drawers in a box/file arrangement. Full-extension file and three-quarter-extension box drawers operate on steel ball-bearing suspensions and lock securely with a One Key removable core system. File drawer rails accommodate hanging folders. A high-pressure laminate top with rounded waterfall edges includes grommets for cable routing, while the base uses woodgrain laminate.

Compatibility and Assembly Checks

Verify that you have the matching right-hand single pedestal desk from the 10700 Series to create the intended L layout. Confirm the Harvest finish aligns with your existing furniture palette. Ensure the installation area accommodates the 48-inch width and 29-1/2-inch height, and use the adjustable leveling glides to stabilise the unit on uneven floors.

Questions about this item

Will the high-pressure laminate top need refinishing after years of daily use?

The abrasion- and stain-resistant high-pressure laminate with hardwood trim is designed to retain its finish without refinishing under normal office conditions.

What limits the load I can place on the 48-inch-wide return worksurface?

The worksurface is supported by the left 3/4-height pedestal and leveling glides; exceeding the manufacturer's recommended uniform load will cause deflection first.

Does the steel ball-bearing suspension make the drawers noisy when opened repeatedly?

Full-extension file and 3/4-extension box drawers ride on steel ball-bearing suspensions that operate quietly during repeated daily use.
