Single Pedestal Desk for Left-Handed Workflow

The HON 10788LCC is a rectangular desk from the 10700 Series with a full left pedestal, measuring 29.50" high, 72.00" wide and 36.00" deep. The Harvest laminate finish resists water, abrasions and most solvents. It suits professionals who need a permanent, left-side storage tower integrated into a large worksurface.

Hardware and Cable Features

Drawers ride on steel ball bearing suspensions; the file drawer extends fully for letter and legal hanging files while box drawers extend three-quarters. Removable core locks allow quick re-keying. Two worksurface grommets route cables cleanly, and a full-height modesty panel adds privacy for seated users.

Conference Overhang and Fit

A 10.50" overhang on the approach side creates kneespace for guests during meetings. Buyers who need a right-side pedestal or a double-pedestal configuration cannot use this model. The fixed 72.00" width also requires a room that accommodates that exact footprint.

Questions about this item

How long do the steel ball-bearing drawer suspensions typically last before they need lubrication or replacement?

The steel ball-bearing suspensions are built for long-term use; no scheduled lubrication is required and they generally last the life of the desk under normal office conditions.

What is the first limitation you reach when loading the file drawer with hanging files day after day?

The file drawer extends fully and is rated for letter- and legal-size hanging files; the practical limit is the drawer's physical capacity, not a weight rating supplied by the manufacturer.

Does the high-pressure laminate top show heat marks or discoloration after a full day of monitors and task lights running on it?

The abrasion- and stain-resistant laminate resists water, abrasions and most solvents, so normal equipment heat does not leave marks on the Harvest finish.
