Two-Drawer Legal File Cabinet

This HON 312CPP vertical cabinet stores legal-size documents in two full-suspension drawers. The 310 Series steel construction is built for daily commercial use. It suits offices that need secure, long-term paper records storage.

Quiet Ball-Bearing Operation

Heavy-duty steel ball-bearing suspensions make drawer movement smooth and quiet. A spring-loaded follower block keeps folders upright in each drawer. High drawer sides add rigidity and double as front-to-back hangrails. A thumb latch holds drawers firmly closed during normal use.

25 Filing Inches Per Drawer

Each drawer provides 25 filing inches of legal-width capacity. The cabinet depth is 26.50 inches, the most popular size in the 310 Series. Buyers who need letter-width filing or more than two drawers should choose a different model.

Questions about this item

How do I level the cabinet on an uneven floor and what step is often missed?

Use the four leveling glides on the base; the step most people skip is adjusting all four after the cabinet is fully loaded so the drawers stay aligned.

Which part will need lubrication or replacement after years of heavy use?

The steel ball-bearing drawer suspensions are the wear item; a light lithium grease once a year keeps them quiet and smooth.

At what load do the drawers start to bind during sustained daily use?

Each drawer holds 25 filing inches; exceeding that capacity is the first limit that causes binding on the ball-bearing suspension.
