Mobile Pedestal File 22.88"d

The HON 33723RP mobile pedestal file provides compact storage with two box drawers and one file drawer. It suits office workers who need active records and personal items within reach at their desk. The unit fits beneath worksurfaces up to 29 1/2" high for convenient under-desk placement.

Steel construction and ball-bearing drawers

Heavy-duty steel construction withstands daily use while maintaining smooth operation. Ball bearing suspensions deliver 90% extension on the file drawer and 75% extension on box drawers for reliable access. A counterweight prevents tipping when multiple drawers are opened simultaneously.

Fixed and swivel caster mobility

Fixed front casters and swivel rear casters allow controlled movement across office floors. The pedestal coordinates with Brigade 800 Series lateral files through matching radius pulls for a unified appearance. An interchangeable lock core secures contents with a single key system.

Questions about this item

How do I install the mobile pedestal under my desk, and what is the common mistake with the casters?

Roll the unit into place beneath a worksurface up to 29 1/2" high; the fixed front casters and swivel rear casters must stay in their factory positions — swapping them makes the pedestal unstable.

What maintenance will the drawers need over time?

The ball-bearing suspensions on the file drawer (90% extension) and box drawers (75% extension) require only occasional cleaning and light lubrication; the HON One Key interchangeable lock core can be re-keyed if keys are lost.

What limit appears first when the pedestal is fully loaded and used daily?

The counterweight prevents tipping when multiple drawers are open, but exceeding the designed front-to-back letter-size capacity in the file drawer will strain the 90% extension slides first.
