Double Pedestal Desk for Office Workspaces

The HON 34962CL 34000 Series desk provides a 60.00" x 30.00" rectangular work surface finished in Harvest/Putty woodgrain laminate. Two integrated pedestals deliver dedicated storage for files and supplies. A three-quarter height modesty panel adds privacy for the user. It suits professionals who need a complete, freestanding desk solution with built-in filing capability.

Assembly Required With Standard Tools

The unit ships unassembled and requires on-site installation using common hand tools. Heavy laminate top and pedestals need two people to position and join safely. Misaligned drawer slides cause binding; verify glide engagement before final tightening. The central locking mechanism uses interchangeable cores; lost keys require a replacement core, not a locksmith. Level the desk on uneven floors to prevent drawer drift.

Verify Room Dimensions and Filing Needs

Confirm the 60.00" width and 30.00" depth fit your floor plan with clearance for chair movement and drawer extension. The 29.50" overall height matches standard desk height. Ensure you need two pedestals; single-pedestal or table desks suit users who prefer open legroom or mobile storage. The Harvest/Putty finish coordinates with existing HON 34000 Series components only.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the drawers and lock operate correctly after assembly?

Open each file drawer fully to verify the triple-tied suspension reaches full extension, cycle the box drawers to check the three-quarter nylon roller travel, and turn the central lock core to ensure the One Key mechanism secures all drawers simultaneously.

Which components arrive in the carton and which items must be sourced separately?

The desk ships as a single unit containing the 60.00" x 30.00" woodgrain laminate top, polished chrome legs, two pedestals with file and box drawers, centre drawer with supply tray, and three-quarter height modesty panel; no extra hardware is mentioned.

How do I decide between the available 34000 Series finishes for this 34962CL model?

This specific model is offered in Harvest/Putty with a rectangular woodgrain laminate top and two pedestals; select it when that colour combination matches the office palette.
