Check your room dimensions and file-folder needs

Verify that a 72 wide by 24 deep footprint fits your intended space and allows comfortable knee clearance. Confirm that high-sided full-extension file drawers suit your hanging folder system and that three-quarter extension box drawers meet your storage access requirements. Ensure the radius edge profile aligns with your existing desk edge aesthetic.

Bundled locks and grommets shape daily use

HON One Key core removable locks are included on all four drawers for unified security management. Convenient cord management grommets are pre-installed to route cables neatly through the worksurface. The Level 2, ANSI/BIFMA and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certifications reflect material and construction standards rather than accessory additions.

Questions about this item

Does the HON 38854NS credenza arrive fully assembled or will I need to put it together?

The credenza is sold as one unit with a steel frame and steel-reinforced high-pressure laminate top; assembly requirements are not detailed in the product specifications.

How do I choose between the left and right pedestal configurations on the 38000 Series credenza?

Both pedestals share the same box/file drawer configuration, so the choice depends on which side of the 72-inch wide unit best fits your workflow.

What does the 72-inch width mean for usable knee space when I sit at the credenza?

The 72-inch overall width spans two 3/4-height pedestals with box/file drawers, leaving a central kneespace between them for leg room.
