Right Pedestal Credenza for Office Use

The HON 38856RNS is a single-pedestal credenza from the 38000 Series built for professional workspaces. Its right-side box/file drawer configuration supports daily filing and supply storage. The steel frame and laminate top meet ANSI/BIFMA standards and suit users who need a 72.00" wide surface with integrated cord management.

72-Inch Width with Two Drawers

The 72.00" wide top provides room for monitors and paperwork while the pedestal adds one box drawer and one full-extension file drawer that accepts hanging folders. Steel ball-bearing suspensions handle frequent cycles. The 24.00" depth limits the footprint, so very large multi-screen arrays or deep equipment may not fit.

Cord Management and Locking Drawers

Ports and hidden channels route cables away from the work surface. HON One Key core removable locks secure both drawers with a single key system. The radius edge profile and 47% total recycled content are built-in attributes rather than separate accessories.

Questions about this item

Will the 72.00" wide right pedestal credenza sit flush against my existing 38000 Series desks?

Yes, it shares the same 24.00" depth and 29.50" height as other 38000 Series pieces, so worksurfaces align when placed side by side.

How do I verify the drawers are operating correctly after assembly?

The box drawer should extend three-quarters and the file drawer should reach full extension on steel ball bearing suspensions; both should glide smoothly without binding.

Does the credenza ship with the HON One Key cores installed, or must I order them separately?

The One Key core removable locks are included; no separate lock cores are required.
