Three-Drawer Lateral File

The HON 673LL 600 Series is a three-drawer lateral file designed for office document storage. It measures 30 inches wide and 19 inches deep with a putty finish. The unit includes a counterweight for stability and adjustable leveling guides.

Side-to-side folder capacity

Drawers hold letter-size or legal-size folders from side to side using the included adjustable hangrails. The mechanical interlock allows only one drawer to open at a time, which prevents tipping. Buyers who need front-to-back filing orientation or a different drawer count should consider other configurations.

Core-removable lock system

The HON One Key interchangeable, core-removable lock secures both sides of every drawer for document security. Lock cores can be swapped to match existing office key systems or replaced if keys are lost. This feature determines whether the cabinet integrates with a facility's current access plan.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 673LL lateral file and what step do people often miss?

Place the cabinet on a level floor, thread the four adjustable leveling guides into the base and turn each until the unit sits firmly without rocking; the step most often skipped is adjusting all four guides after the cabinet is loaded.

What maintenance or replacement will the 673LL need over time?

The ball-bearing telescoping suspension may eventually need lubrication or replacement if drawers become stiff; the core-removable lock cylinder can be swapped with a HON One Key core when re-keying is required.

What limit appears first when the 673LL is used heavily day after day?

The mechanical interlock that allows only one drawer to open at a time will wear before the double-walled steel case, so sustained heavy use typically shows up as interlock stiffness first.
