Three-Drawer Lateral File 30w

The HON 673LS 600 Series lateral file provides three drawers in a 30-inch wide charcoal steel cabinet. Double-walled base construction and a baked enamel finish over phosphate pretreatment deliver structural rigidity and corrosion resistance. Telescoping ball-bearing suspension ensures smooth drawer travel, while a mechanical interlock permits only one drawer to open at a time. Adjustable leveling guides stabilize the unit on uneven floors.

Suits letter or legal filing with included hangrails

This cabinet suits offices that store letter-size or legal-size folders side-to-side using the supplied adjustable hangrails. Aluminum recessed pulls, plastic label holders and a core-removable HON One Key lock support daily organisation and security. Buyers who need a vertical file, a different width, or a configuration without the integrated counterweight should consider other storage options.

30-inch width defines the footprint

The 30-inch width is the critical dimension that determines whether this lateral file fits the allocated floor space and matches existing 600 Series units. Combined with a 19-inch depth, it sets the exact placement envelope for side-to-side folder storage. Verify the available clearance against these measurements before ordering.

Questions about this item

How much wall space does the 30" wide lateral file actually occupy once it is in the office?

The cabinet measures 30 inches wide and 19 inches deep, so it needs that much clear floor area plus a little extra for the drawers to extend fully.

What does the telescoping ball-bearing suspension mean for daily drawer use?

It lets each drawer slide out smoothly on steel bearings and stops automatically at full extension so folders at the back stay reachable.

What floor preparation is required for the four adjustable leveling guides to work?

The guides thread into the base and can be turned by hand to compensate for uneven floors; no tools or anchoring are needed.
