Three-Drawer Lateral File

Double-walled base construction and a baked enamel finish over phosphate pretreatment deliver rigidity and corrosion resistance. Telescoping ball-bearing suspension ensures smooth drawer operation.

Offices needing secure high-density filing

Suits workplaces that require legal-width capacity and single-drawer access enforced by a mechanical interlock. The HON One Key interchangeable lock secures both drawer sides. Buyers needing fire-rated protection or more than three drawers should consider other solutions.

36-inch wide legal-capacity lateral file

Width of 36 inches accommodates side-to-side legal folders with included hangrails. Four adjustable leveling guides stabilize the cabinet on uneven floors. Reinforced steel case construction supports heavy daily use.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the three-drawer lateral file is operating correctly once assembled?

What components are included with the 683LQ and what must be sourced separately?

The cabinet ships with a counterweight, adjustable hangrails for letter or legal folders, plastic label holders, aluminum recessed pulls, four adjustable leveling guides and the HON One Key interchangeable core-removable lock; no extra parts are required for standard operation.

Which 600 Series lateral file configuration suits my storage needs?

The 683LQ provides three drawers in a 36-inch-wide, 19-inch-deep footprint finished in Light Gray, ideal for side-to-side letter or legal filing where a counterweight and interlock are required.
