Undermount Cubby for Height-Adjustable Desks

The HON Fuse undermount cubby mounts flush beneath a worksurface and moves with it when the desk height changes. It measures 10" x 15" x 20" and includes a lockable door to secure personal valuables or private documents. Side-mounted rails accept Fuse Workplace Tools for quick access to smaller items. This unit suits home offices and corporate spaces that want personal storage off the floor.

For Users Who Want Mobile, Secured Storage

Workers who keep a laptop, bag or confidential files at their desk and need them to rise and fall with the surface will benefit from the flush mount and locking door. Buyers who need a freestanding pedestal, a unit that stays fixed when the desk moves, or storage larger than the 10" x 15" x 20" envelope should look at other configurations.

Lockable Door Secures Contents

The integrated lockable door is the single specification that determines whether this cubby protects private work and personal valuables. If security is not required, an open-front cubby from the same collection may be more suitable.

Questions about this item

How often will the lock on the HAUFHR15SLTL need servicing?

The lockable door uses a standard cam lock that only requires occasional lubrication with dry graphite powder if the key begins to stick.

What stops the side-mounted Fuse Workplace Tools from sagging after months of daily use?

The steel side panel and reinforced mounting brackets are rated for the full 15-inch depth load, so tool weight transfers directly to the cubby frame.

Will the cubby’s metal surfaces get hot when the height-adjustable desk runs all day?

The powder-coated steel body stays at ambient room temperature because it has no electrical components or moving motors.
