Reception Station Return 42.25"W

This stack-on reception panel extends a reception station onto a return to create dedicated space for greeting visitors. It belongs to the HON Foundation laminate collection that can be combined in multiple configurations to suit different office layouts. The unit is designed for reception and conference room environments. Assembly is classified as easy to assemble.

Check desk compatibility and space

Verify that your existing reception station accepts a stack-on return panel before ordering. The overall width measures 42.25 inches with a depth of 24.00 inches and a height of 13.00 inches, so confirm the available footprint on the return side. The gross weight is 28.00 lbs, which should be factored into any load considerations. The worksurface features a square edge style and no conference overhang.

Expands reception footprint for visitor greeting

This panel replaces a bare return surface by adding a structured reception tier that defines the visitor greeting zone. The upgrade is worthwhile when the current station lacks a dedicated transaction or welcome area on the return side. It is not suited for buyers who need a freestanding desk or a unit with integrated storage drawers. The laminate construction matches other Foundation pieces for a consistent finish.
