Compatible Hutch Flipper Doors

These HON 38000 Series flipper doors are designed specifically for the 60-inch wide stack-on open shelf unit. They measure 30 inches wide by 15 inches high and finish in a neutral Putty laminate. The pair of locking doors adds secure storage to an existing hutch configuration.

Suits offices expanding secure storage

Buyers who already own the matching HON 38000 Series open shelf unit 38224 can add lockable doors without replacing the entire hutch. The steel construction and baked enamel finish withstand daily use in busy workspaces. This product does not function as a standalone cabinet and requires the separate shelf unit for installation.

Adds 30-inch wide secured compartment

Each door spans 30.00 inches wide and 15.00 inches high with a 0.75-inch thickness, covering half the 60-inch shelf width. Two doors with radius-edge profiles enclose the full opening when locked. The laminate surface resists stains and abrasion, while the steel frame provides structural rigidity for frequent opening and closing.

Questions about this item

Which HON shelf unit must I already own to install these 30w x 15h flipper doors?

The doors are built for the HON 38000 Series Stack-on Open Shelf Unit, model 38224NL, which is sold separately.

Will the .75"-thick doors align with the 60w open shelf I already have?

Each door spans 30" wide, so two doors cover the full 60" width of the shelf unit.

How can I confirm the locking mechanism is engaged after mounting?

Turn the key until the bolt throws; the door will then resist opening when pulled.
