Flipper doors for 72-inch HON 38000 storage

These lockable steel doors secure a HON 38000 Series 72-inch wide stack-on open shelf unit. They arrive fully assembled in a two-door carton and finish in charcoal. The One Key removable core lets you re-key the lock without tools. Buyers who need doors for a different width or a non-HON cabinet cannot use this product.

Check your existing HON 38000 shelf before ordering

Verify that you own a 72-inch wide HON 38000 Series stack-on open shelf unit, sold separately. The doors mount on steel ball-bearing slides that glide over the cabinet top. No additional hardware is mentioned in the specifications. Builders using any other storage line or a narrower shelf will find these doors incompatible.

Steel construction with smooth ball-bearing slides

The reinforced steel panels and charcoal finish are built for daily office use. Doors glide open and closed on steel ball-bearing slides without a motor or spring assist. No power draw, fan noise or thermal output is involved. The lock engages with a simple key turn for quiet, secure operation.

Questions about this item

Does the HON387215LS carton include the 72"W stack-on shelf unit or only the two flipper doors?

The carton contains two fully assembled flipper doors with steel ball-bearing slides and the HON One Key removable lock core; the matching 72"W 38000 Series open shelf unit is sold and shipped separately.

The specs list 36"W by 15"H — how do I know this pair fits my existing 38000 Series hutch?

These doors are built for any HON 38000 Series 72"W stack-on storage; the 36"W door width matches the half-width bays on that 72"W unit, so the pair covers the full opening.

Once installed, what does the 15"H dimension actually give me in usable clearance?

The 15"H door height sits directly above the shelf interior, providing a full 15-inch tall locked compartment that glides open over the cabinet top on steel ball-bearing slides.
