Convergence Task Chair Synchro-Tilt

The HON Convergence task chair uses a synchro-tilt mechanism with seat slide to match recline angle and seat depth to the user. Height- and width-adjustable arms position support precisely at the shoulders. A pivoting lumbar cradles the lower back while the black mesh back promotes airflow. It suits professionals who sit for extended periods at a desk.

Sustained comfort over long sessions

The breathable mesh back prevents heat buildup during continuous use. The synchro-tilt control maintains a natural reclining posture without pressure points on the thighs. Adjustable arms and pivoting lumbar keep spinal alignment stable as posture shifts throughout the day. The seat slide accommodates different leg lengths for consistent support.

Upgrade from fixed-position seating

This chair replaces basic task chairs that lack synchronized recline, seat-depth adjustment or movable lumbar. The jump is worth it when the current seat forces a single posture, causes lower-back fatigue or traps heat. Buyers who need a headrest, a leather upholstery option or a heavier weight rating should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

The chair ships with all necessary hardware and a basic hex key for arm attachment and base assembly.

Will the black mesh back and vinyl seat match an older HON desk from 2019?

The black vinyl seat and mesh back use a neutral finish that coordinates with most HON desk surfaces from that period.
