Credenza Shell Slate Teak

The HON Mod credenza shell provides a 60-inch wide worksurface for multitasking in private offices or open floor plans. Its slate teak finish and rectangular top suit contemporary workplace aesthetics. The thermally fused laminate construction resists scratches, spills and stains for daily durability.

Build Integration Requirements

The unit requires assembly and fits into modular configurations alongside desks, shared workstations or storage components. Round 3-inch black grommets route power and data cables through the 1-inch thick top. Adjustable floor leveling glides supply 0.75-inch of adjustment for uneven floors.

Capacity and Headroom

The 60-inch width by 24-inch depth surface accommodates monitors, documents and peripherals for focused work sessions. The 1-inch thick end panels support the structure without integrated storage, so drawers or pedestals must be added separately. Buyers needing built-in filing or locking compartments should consider supplementary units.

Questions about this item

Will the 1" thick top sag under monitors and binders after months of daily use?

The thermally fused laminate top is 1" thick and the laminate resists scratches, spills and stains, giving a rigid surface for monitors and binders.

Does the laminate finish stay cool and quiet when the credenza sits against a wall all day?

The thermally fused laminate does not generate heat or noise, and the 0.75" adjustable glides keep the unit stable on uneven floors.

What separate storage units must I already own to make this 60" wide shell functional?

The credenza shell is an open frame; you need HON Mod pedestals, lateral files or bookcases that match the 24" depth to create enclosed storage.
