Mod Support Pedestal for Mod Workstations

The HON Mod Support Pedestal expands storage on a Mod workstation while providing structural support for the worksurface. It is designed for office environments that need integrated file storage without a freestanding unit. The left or right orientation allows flexible placement within the system.

Durable Laminate and Ball-Bearing Drawers

Woodgrain laminate on the base and top resists scratches, spills and stains during daily use. Two file drawers open fully on steel ball-bearing suspensions for smooth, quiet operation. Each drawer includes standard hangrails that accept both letter- and legal-width hanging files.

Fixed 15 by 20 by 28 Inch Footprint

The pedestal measures 15 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 28 inches high, so it fits only the designated Mod workstation cavity. It cannot stand alone and requires the metal-to-metal fastening system for installation. Buyers needing a mobile or freestanding cabinet should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much noise do the steel ball-bearing drawer suspensions make during all-day use?

The steel ball-bearing drawer suspensions operate easily and quietly, so the pedestal adds minimal sound even with frequent opening and closing throughout the day.

What existing furniture must I already own for this pedestal to work?

The unit is not freestanding and must attach to a HON Mod workstation worksurface using the metal-to-metal fastening system for support and precise fit.

Will the Slate Teak laminate match older teak-finish items I want to keep?

The durable woodgrain laminate in the Slate Teak colour family is designed to coordinate with modern or traditional teak finishes, resisting scratches, spills and stains for long-term consistency.
