Mid-back task chair with headrest

The HON Ignition 2.0 I2MSKY1IMTHR is a mid-back task chair with an integrated headrest. Black mesh covers both the seat and back to cradle the user through long work sessions. A synchro-tilt mechanism with seat slider moves the whole body when reclining. The chair supports up to 300 lbs and swivels 360 degrees.

Suits desk workers needing adjustable support

This chair fits people who want a headrest, height-and-width adjustable arms, and a waterfall seat edge that adjusts in height. Tilt tension and tilt lock let you set recline resistance. Buyers who need a high-back design or a leather-upholstered seat should look elsewhere.

300 lb weight capacity

The tested weight capacity is 300 lbs. This single figure determines whether the chair will safely support the intended user. Exceeding it risks structural failure and voids safe-use expectations.

Questions about this item

How often should the mesh seat and headrest be cleaned or replaced?

The mesh seat and adjustable headrest are designed for daily use; regular vacuuming and spot cleaning will keep them functional without a set replacement schedule.

What is the first limit reached during continuous daily use?

The 300 lbs weight capacity is the primary structural limit; exceeding it risks frame or cylinder failure before any other component wears out.

Does the chair generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day sitting?

The breathable mesh seat and back promote airflow to reduce heat buildup, while the 360-degree swivel and synchro-tilt mechanisms operate quietly under normal use.
