High-Back Leather Executive Chair

The HON VL151SB11 is a high-back office chair upholstered in black SofThread leather with tailored stitching. It is designed for professionals who want a traditional executive look with integrated headrest support. The five-star resin base and 2.00" dual-wheel casters provide mobility across hard floors or low-pile carpet. A center-tilt mechanism with lock and tension control allows the user to recline or sit upright.

Seat Dimensions and Adjustment Range

The seat measures 20.50" wide by 18.63" deep, while the back is 20.50" wide by 27.25" high. Pneumatic height adjustment moves the seat from 17.75" to 22.00" off the floor. Fixed padded loop arms sit 20.50" apart, which may feel narrow for broader users. The chair swivels 360 degrees for full range of motion at the desk.

Fixed Arm Spacing Constraint

The distance between the fixed loop arms is 20.50", a measurement that determines whether the chair fits the user's frame and slides under the desk. Buyers who need adjustable arm width or a wider gap between armrests will find this model unsuitable. The chair carries a HON Limited 5-Year Warranty on parts and labor.

Questions about this item

Will the 20.50-inch arm spacing fit my existing desk opening?

The fixed loop arms are set 20.50 inches apart, so measure your desk clearance before assembly.

How can I confirm the pneumatic lift is working correctly after assembly?

Sit in the chair and operate the height lever; the seat should move smoothly between 17.75 and 22.00 inches and hold position when released.

Does the box include the five-star base, casters and all hardware, or must I buy anything extra?

The package contains the seat, back, five-star base, five 2.00-inch dual-wheel casters and mounting hardware — no additional parts are required.
