Managerial mid-back chair

The HON VL601VA10T is a managerial mid-back swivel chair built for office workers who spend long hours at a desk. It offers a black fabric seat and back on a sturdy textured metal frame. The chair rotates 360 degrees for easy movement around the workspace. Pneumatic seat-height adjustment lets each user find a comfortable position.

Adjustable tilt and lock

Tilt, tilt tension and tilt lock functions let the sitter control recline resistance and lock the angle for focused tasks. Urethane loop arms provide a fixed resting place for forearms. The five-star plastic base carries 2 inch hooded dual-wheel carpet casters for rolling on carpeted floors. The heavy-gauge steel frame supports daily use.

Capacity and limits

The seat measures 20-1/2 inches wide by 18-1/4 inches deep with a height range of 17-7/16 to 20-15/16 inches from the floor. The back rises 26 inches from the seat and spans 20-1/2 inches wide. Questions about this item

How often will the 2" hooded dual-wheel carpet casters need replacing?

The 2" hooded dual-wheel carpet casters are built for daily office use; inspect them periodically and replace individual wheels if rolling becomes uneven or noisy.

Which limit appears first during a full day of sitting — the pneumatic seat-height range or the tilt-tension setting?

The pneumatic seat-height range of 17-7/16" to 20-15/16" from the floor is reached before the tilt-tension knob hits its stop.

How much heat does the black fabric and frame build up after eight hours of continuous use?

The 100% polyester back and seat breathe well enough that surface temperature stays close to room level even after an eight-hour shift.
