Compact wearable scanner for high-volume workflows

The Honeywell 8675i is a rugged, ring-style barcode scanner built for hands-free operation in demanding environments. Its lightweight design keeps the device close to the finger to avoid interference during picking, packing or sorting tasks. Workers can switch the trigger between left and right hands quickly for all-day comfort.

FlexRange scanning covers near contact to 33 metres

FlexRange technology reads 100% UPC codes from near contact up to 1.5 metres and 100 mil Code 39 barcodes out to 33 metres. This single device replaces separate short- and long-range scanners for many workflows. A standard-range only variant exists where extended distance is not required.

Choose the FlexRange model for mixed near-and-far

The 8675I400SR2N configuration includes FlexRange capability, making it suitable for users who must scan both close-up labels and distant pallet codes. Buyers needing only arm-length reading should select the standard-range version to reduce acquisition cost. The 8680i companion computer is a separate accessory not included here.

Questions about this item

Which scan-range option should I pick for my workflow?

Choose the FlexRange version for 100 % UPC reads from near contact to 5/1.5m and 100 mil Code 39 to 33/10m, or the standard-range model for lower acquisition cost on arms-length tasks.

What does the 33/10m Code 39 figure mean on the warehouse floor?

It means a 100 mil Code 39 label can be read at distances up to 33/10m, letting workers scan pallet tags from a forklift without leaving the vehicle.

How does the ring-trigger connect to the host system?

The 8675i pairs with a host via Bluetooth and uses the ring trigger to send decoded data instantly to your POS or WMS application.
