Portable Bluetooth label printer

The Honeywell cabaro-012 is a direct-thermal printer that creates 2.2 inch wide stickers without ink or toner. It ships with three rolls of thermal paper measuring 50mm to 53mm wide. Bluetooth 4.0 connects the unit to Android 4.0 or iOS 8.0 devices for wireless printing from a phone or tablet. The pocket-sized device weighs 160 grams.

Suits mobile journalling and light labelling

This printer fits users who want instant photo stickers, planner decoration or quick memo labels while away from a desk. The included app supplies fonts, filters and themes for creative output. Buyers needing durable barcode labels for shipping, inventory or industrial use should look elsewhere because the direct-thermal media fades with heat and light exposure. The unit also lacks a ribbon system for synthetic or waterproof materials.

Bluetooth 4.0 wireless interface

The single specification that decides compatibility is the Bluetooth 4.0 connection, which requires Android 4.0 or iOS 8.0 and the companion app to operate. No USB host printing or PC driver support is described in the data. If your workflow depends on a wired link, network printing or standalone operation without a smartphone, this model will not meet that need.
