  • Remote testing capability simplifies routine inspection and maintenance
  • New condition ensures reliable performance from first installation

Honeywell 18 In Sampling Tube

This Honeywell sampling tube is an accessory for InnovairFlex air-sampling smoke detectors. It provides a defined 18 in sampling path for system testing and code-compliant inspection. The tube integrates with existing Innovair accessories to maintain detector performance.

18 In sampling length

The tube length is fixed at 18 in. This dimension determines the sampling point location and must match the system design layout. Verify the required length before ordering.

Suits installers extending InnovairFlex sampling

Installers adding or replacing sampling ports on InnovairFlex detectors will use this tube. It is not for use with other detector brands or sampling systems. Buyers needing a different tube length or a complete detector kit should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 18 in sampling tube length affect airflow sampling in a real installation?

The 18 in length positions the sampling point within the duct or space, allowing the detector to draw representative air for smoke analysis.

What interface does the sampling tube use to connect to the detector, and what does it limit?

It connects via a barbed or push-fit port on compatible InnovairFlex detectors, limiting use to System Sensor duct housings designed for that tube diameter.

What physical clearance and mounting hardware does the 18 in tube require?

The rigid tube needs a straight 18 in run inside the duct plus clearance for the detector housing; mounting uses the detector’s supplied duct flange and screws.
