Pack contents and intended use

This pack supplies ten identical mini pen lights, each measuring 3.5 inches or 8.8 cm long and weighing 0.209 kilograms. They are built from aluminum with a scratch-resistant lens and a water-resistant seal. A removable pocket clip and a single on/off button make them convenient for close-up tasks such as inspections, reading, camping or emergency kits.

Sustained operation

Each light runs on one standard AAA alkaline battery, which is not included in the pack. The manufacturer states a runtime of 2 hours per battery. The single-mode LED is designed to conserve power, so output remains steady until the cell is depleted rather than fading quickly in a short burst.

Setup checks

Verify that you have a supply of AAA batteries before ordering, as none are provided. Confirm the 3.5 inch length fits the pockets, bags or belt clips where you plan to carry them. The aluminum body resists rain, snow and brief immersion, but the spec does not quote an IP rating, so do not assume continuous submersion is safe.

Questions about this item

How long does a single AAA battery keep one of the 3.5-inch pen lights running during all-day use?

Each light is rated for about 2 hours of continuous operation on one AAA battery, so extended use will require spare cells.

What must I supply before the 10-pack of aluminum pen lights will turn on?

The lights ship without batteries; you need to provide two AAA alkaline cells per flashlight for a total of twenty cells.

Will the 3.5-inch lights fit in the same pouches or clips I already use for the larger 5.24-inch model?

The smaller 3.46-inch body is noticeably shorter, so existing pouches or clips sized for the 5.24-inch version will be loose.
