What this charger does and who it suits

The HopePow 15W wireless pad includes an 18W Quick Charge 3.0 adapter and a 3ft USB-C cable. It delivers up to 15W for compatible Samsung Galaxy S and Z series phones, Google Pixel models and iPhone 12 through 16 ranges. Buyers who need faster proprietary speeds or want to charge a Galaxy A series handset should look elsewhere.

Practical limits of the 15W standard

Maximum output reaches 15W only when the phone, the pad and the supplied 18W adapter all support the same fast-charge profile. Many devices fall back to 5W or 10W depending on their internal charging logic. Thick cases, metal plates or magnetic accessories block the inductive link and must be removed before charging starts.

Installation ease and common pitfalls

Plug the adapter into a wall socket, connect the USB-C cable to the pad and place the phone on the centre of the surface. Alignment is critical — a few millimetres off-centre stops power transfer. The pad works through rubber, plastic or TPU cases up to 5mm thick, but any magnetic or metal attachment prevents charging entirely.

Questions about this item

Which version of this wireless charger should I choose if I need the fastest charging for my Galaxy S25 Ultra?

The only version listed is the 15 W pad bundled with an 18 W Quick Charge 3.0 adapter, which together enable the maximum 15 W wireless speed for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

What charging speed will I actually see on my Pixel 9 Pro when using this pad?

The pad supports up to 15 W for compatible Samsung models and 10 W for listed Pixel devices, so a Pixel 9 Pro will charge at 10 W.

Does the included adapter use USB-C Power Delivery or Quick Charge, and what does that limit?

The supplied 18 W adapter uses Quick Charge 3.0 over USB-C, so the pad's 15 W maximum is only reached when the phone and adapter both support that protocol.
