A five-pack of 10-foot stereo breakout cables that split a 3.5 mm TRS output into dual 1/4 inch TS mono inputs for connecting portable devices to professional audio gear
This Hosa CMP-159 five-pack splits a single 3.5 mm TRS stereo output into two 1/4 inch TS mono feeds. Each cable spans 10 feet and uses oxygen-free copper conductors with spiral shielding for clean signal transfer. Nickel-plated plugs add durability for repeated connections.
The cables suit podcasters, musicians and AV installers who route laptop or portable-player outputs into mixing consoles or pro audio gear. They do not serve setups that require balanced TRS inputs, XLR terminations or a single stereo 1/4 inch jack.
Oxygen-free copper and spiral shielding comfortably handle line-level stereo signals across the full 10-foot run with effective EMI and RFI rejection. The unbalanced TS ends limit noise rejection on very long runs or in electrically noisy racks.
Measured against everything we stock in XLR & Instrument Cables, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The source needs a 3.5 mm TRS stereo output, commonly found on laptops, phones or portable media players.
The cable provides unbalanced TS signals; they will work in a TRS jack but remain unbalanced, so keep runs short to avoid noise.
Pan a test signal left and right on the source; the left channel should appear only on the tip of one 1/4 inch plug and the right channel on the other.
