Eight-Pack TRS Patch Cables

This Hosa CSS-890 bundle supplies eight balanced 1/4-inch TRS male-to-male cables, each three feet long. The pack is built for professional audio routing in studios, live sound rigs and creator spaces. Every cable uses a round black jacket and standard TRS connectors for balanced line-level signals.

Studios and stages needing multiple short balanced

Musicians, podcasters and AV integrators who run several inserts, returns or inter-device connections at once will appreciate the ready-made quantity. Installations that require longer runs, XLR termination or unbalanced TS wiring should select different cables instead.

1/4-inch TRS male-to-male connector format

The decisive specification is the balanced TRS plug on both ends, which carries tip-ring-sleeve signals between compatible gear. Only equipment with matching 1/4-inch TRS jacks can connect directly without adapters.

Questions about this item

Does the 3-foot Hosa CSS-890 cable add any audible noise or signal loss in a live-sound chain?

The TRS balanced design rejects hum and interference over the 3-foot run, keeping the signal clean for live sound and studio use.

What gear must I already own to use these eight 1/4-inch TRS male-to-male cables?

You need equipment with 1/4-inch TRS jacks — mixers, audio interfaces, patch bays or balanced insert points — to plug each end into.

Will these TRS patch cables work with older TS-only 1/4-inch gear I still have?

They fit TS jacks mechanically, but the ring contact will short to sleeve, so balanced operation is lost and some vintage units may misbehave.
