The Hosa STP-201 is a 1m insert cable built for studio and stage use. It splits a single 1/4 inch TRS connection into two 1/4 inch TS plugs for routing signals through outboard processors. Oxygen-free copper conductors and spiral shielding preserve signal integrity in professional audio environments.

Interface limits

The 1/4 inch TRS and TS connectors handle balanced and unbalanced line-level signals without active electronics. Shielding rejects EMI and RFI, but the passive design cannot compensate for impedance mismatches or level differences between devices. Cable length is fixed at one metre, so rack spacing must accommodate that reach.

Upgrade path
