Hot Rods RF450 Hard Hat Liner

The Hot Rods RF450 is a universal hard hat liner designed for workers who need extra warmth and ear coverage in cold environments. It fits a range of helmet sizes and uses hook-and-loop attachment for quick installation. The grey polyester fleece construction suits outdoor and industrial settings where head protection is already required.

Sustained comfort in cold conditions

The single-layer 300 g polyester fleece provides consistent insulation across the head and ears during long shifts without active cooling. Pill-resistant fabric maintains its surface texture after repeated daily use and laundering. The reflective strip remains visible throughout the workday, supporting low-light recognition. Hook-and-loop adjustment keeps the liner secure without constant readjustment.

Durable reusable construction

Reusable design and hook-and-loop closure withstand frequent on-and-off cycles typical of break schedules. The included chin strap adds stability in windy or high-movement tasks. Grey interior and exterior hide dirt while matching common hard hat colours. Universal sizing and simple attachment mean one liner serves multiple team members without fitting issues.

Questions about this item

Does the 300 g polyester fleece liner trap too much heat during a full shift?

The single-layer fleece is pill-resistant and warm without active cooling, so it retains body heat in cold conditions but offers no moisture-wicking or ventilation for hot environments.

What hard-hat suspension system does the hook-and-loop attachment require?

The liner uses hook-and-loop straps and includes a chin strap, designed to fit universal hard-hat sizes by wrapping around the existing suspension.

Will the grey reflective strip still show clearly on a faded yellow hard hat?

The grey liner has a reflective strip on its exterior; visibility depends on the hat colour and lighting, but the strip is intended to enhance contrast in low light.
