Movie-Accurate 1/6 Scale Figure

This Hot Toys MMS216 collectible reproduces Michael Shannon as General Zod from Man of Steel. The 31 cm tall figure includes a detailed head sculpt, an interchangeable armored head, and a meticulously tailored costume. It is intended for collectors aged 14 and above.

30 Points of Articulation for Posing

The body offers over 30 movable points, allowing a wide range of dynamic poses for display. Joints hold position securely so the figure remains stable on a shelf without additional support. The articulated frame is designed for occasional repositioning rather than constant play.

Upgrades Basic Statues With Swappable Heads

Unlike static PVC statues, this release adds an extra armored portrait for scene-specific accuracy. The jump is worth it if you want a single figure that captures both the general's human face and his battle helmet. Buyers who only need a fixed-pose display piece will not benefit from the articulation.

Questions about this item

Does the 30-point articulated body generate any heat or noise when displayed all day?

The figure has no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no heat or noise regardless of how long it remains on display.

What does the buyer need to own already for the 31 cm figure to stand securely?

A flat, stable surface such as a shelf or display cabinet is all that is required; the figure includes its own integrated feet and needs no external stand.

Will the 1/6 scale General Zod match the size of older Hot Toys 1/6 figures already in a collection?

Yes — at approximately 31 cm tall and built to 1/6 scale, it aligns with other Hot Toys 1/6 releases for consistent shelf presentation.
