HP 11.55V 42W 3-Cell Battery

This lithium-ion battery supplies 11.55V and 42W capacity for compatible HP laptops. It replaces the original pack in models identified by part numbers HSTNN-LB7L, TPN-Q189, TPN-Q191, TPN-Q192, TPN-Q196 and TPN-C131. The three-cell design restores mobile runtime for daily work and entertainment.

Installation and common issues

The battery fits directly into the laptop's battery bay without tools in most compatible models. Ensure the old pack is fully removed and the contacts are clean before seating the new unit. A loose connection or debris on the terminals can prevent charging or cause intermittent power loss.

Pre-order checks

Verify that your laptop's service tag or bottom-case sticker lists one of the exact part numbers above. Confirm the original battery shows 11.55V and a three-cell layout to match this replacement. Buyers whose devices use a different voltage, cell count or part number will find this unit incompatible.
