128 MB DDR2 SODIMM adds 144-pin memory to compatible HP LaserJet printers
This 128MB DDR2 144-pin SODIMM module is designed to upgrade specific HP LaserJet printers including the P2015, P2055, P3005, CP1510, CP2025, CM2320 and M2727 models. It uses the HP part number CB422A and is supplied new. The memory is engineered and qualified by HP engineers for these printer systems.
Under continuous print jobs the module holds the extra page data in DRAM so the formatter does not stall waiting for the engine. The DDR2 interface keeps latency low during long rasterising passes. Printers without this upgrade may slow down or pause on complex graphics because the base memory fills. This part is not for users who need more than 128MB of additional memory.
