Everyday 17.3-inch laptop for home use

This HP laptop ships new with Windows 11 Home and a 17.3-inch FHD IPS panel. The Intel Core 5 120U processor delivers 10 cores and 12 threads with a 5.0 GHz boost clock. Integrated Intel graphics handle the display output. The silver chassis weighs 4.43 lb and measures 15.65 x 10.09 x 0.65 inches.

24GB DDR5 memory and 1TB NVMe SSD

The 24GB of DDR5 RAM provides ample headroom for multitasking, browser tabs and office applications. The 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD offers fast boot times and space for documents and media. Demanding creative workloads or modern games will exceed the integrated graphics capability and the 45-watt power adapter limits sustained performance.

Non-backlit keyboard and 720p webcam

The keyboard lacks backlighting, which limits usability in dim environments. A 720p HD webcam covers basic video calls. Connectivity includes two USB-C 3.1 ports, two USB-A 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.1, a combo audio jack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. Buyers who need a backlit keyboard or higher-resolution camera should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 2.1 port drive my older 1080p monitor without extra adapters?

Yes, the single HDMI 2.1 output connects directly to a 1920 x 1080 display and the Intel integrated graphics handle that resolution natively.

How can I verify the 24 GB DDR5 memory and 10-core Intel Core 5 120U are recognised after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, and confirm 24 GB DDR5 appears under Memory and 10 logical processors show for the Core 5 120U.

Which accessories ship in the box and what must I source myself?

The laptop, 45-watt AC adapter, and a flash drive are included; no optical drive, external mouse, or carry case are supplied.
