17.3-inch laptop for office work

This HP notebook ships new with a 17.3-inch HD+ display, an Intel Core i7-8565U processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe SSD. It includes a DVD-Writer, a full-size backlit keyboard with numeric keypad and Windows 10 Home 64-bit. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles everyday visual tasks.

Upgrade from smaller or slower portables

The larger screen and quad-core CPU replace compact ultraportables or older dual-core machines when more workspace and multitasking headroom are needed. The jump is worth it if you regularly run several business applications side by side and value a built-in optical drive for legacy media.

Suits desk-based users who need a numeric keypad

Buyers who want a stationary large-screen laptop with a number pad and DVD capability will find the specification matched. Those who need a touchscreen, discrete graphics, a lighter chassis for frequent travel or a newer operating system out of the box should look at something else.
