Target user

This HP 17 laptop suits professionals who need a large touchscreen for multitasking and presentations. Windows 11 Pro provides business-grade security and management features out of the box.

Build and connectivity

The gold chassis measures 15.78 by 10.15 by 0.78 inches and weighs 5.25 lb, making it a substantial desk companion rather than an ultraportable. Ports include two Superspeed USB Type-A, one Superspeed USB Type-C, HDMI and an audio jack for everyday peripherals. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth deliver reliable wireless links, while the fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard add secure, comfortable input.

Upgrade perspective

The 1TB PCIe SSD replaces smaller or slower drives, cutting boot and load times for large document sets. Integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics steps up from basic video output for light creative work, though it cannot serve heavy 3D or gaming workloads. Buyers who need discrete graphics, a higher-resolution panel or a lighter chassis should look elsewhere.
