17.3-inch FHD laptop for everyday users

This HP 17 laptop has a 17.3 inch FHD IPS display at 1920 x 1080 resolution. It runs on an Intel Core 5 120U processor with 10 cores and 12 threads reaching up to 5.0 Ghz. The system includes 24GB DDR5 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed for professional use.

Upgrade from smaller screens or slower storage

The 17.3 inch panel replaces compact displays that limit multitasking space. A 1TB NVMe SSD upgrades from smaller drives that fill quickly with media and documents. The 10-core processor jumps from dual or quad-core chips that struggle with background tasks. The jump is worth it when you keep many browser tabs and office apps open at once.

Check your bag and power needs first

The chassis measures 15.65 x 10.09 x 0.65 inches and weighs 4.43 pounds, so confirm your bag fits these dimensions. The box includes a 45-watt AC adapter; verify you have a compatible outlet. Ports include 2 x USB-C 3.1, 2 x USB-A 3.0, HDMI 2.1 and a combo audio jack. The keyboard is non-backlit and the webcam captures 720p video.
