HP 17 laptop with Ryzen 5 7520U

This 17.3 inch laptop runs Windows 11 Home on an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor with 4 cores and 8 threads. It has 8GB of onboard LPDDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The IPS display shows 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60Hz. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics handle the visual output.

Suitable for everyday office work.

The system suits students and office users who want a large screen for documents, web browsing and video calls. The 8GB of soldered LPDDR5 memory cannot be upgraded, so buyers who need more RAM for virtual machines or large media projects should look at a different model.

8GB soldered LPDDR5 memory cannot be expanded

The single specification that decides fit is the fixed 8GB LPDDR5 configuration. There are no SO-DIMM slots to add modules later. If your workload regularly exceeds 8GB, this laptop will throttle to swap and you need a device with higher capacity or user-accessible slots.
